Locations

Timber Ridge is located in western Iowa's Loess Hills region of Monona County, near Mapleton.  The most fertile soil in the world is found here, as are some of the planet's largest deer, body and rack.  In fact, the next world record white tail is expected to come from this region.

Monona County is ranked 4th in the state of Iowa for Boone and Crockett bucks and should be taking over the top spot in the near future.  Some of the state's largest turkeys are also taken here.

The name 'Loess' means 'wind-blown sand' and there is only one other location in the world like this part of Iowa -- and that is in China.
